Team Policies & FAQ
All divers must register with the AAU to dive in practice and in AAU diving meets.

Fill out all required ranges including: program-Choose Youth Membership Fee-Choose Added
Benefit ($14) Sport-Choose Di-Diving AAU Club Name- Type in Greater Owego Diving Stars AAU
Club code- Type in NIDIYE3KB0. You will then be asked for your credit card information and then
you can print out an AAU card.

Fees
Payment is due 7 days prior to the session beginning date.  Contact Coach Katchuk to find out
what package is available at the time. Please make checks payable to “Roger Katchuk Diving”
and mail to Roger Katchuk, PO Box 484, Owego, NY 13827. Please do not bring checks or cash to
the pool.  There are no refunds once the session begins.

Make Up Classes
If you miss a class or you anticipate missing a class, please arrange a make up within the session
package that is running.  Make up classes cannot be carried forward to a future session.  To
arrange a make up class, you can simply leave Coach Roger Katchuk a message or email when
you will be coming.

Diving Meet Travel Fees & Special Travel Events
Diving Coach meet expenses include travel, hotel, meals and other normal and customary
expenses associated with a meet or special event.  Payment is due with checks payable to “Roger
Katchuk Diving” prior to traveling to the meet or event.  (Fee is non-refundable). Diving Meet Travel
Fees are separate from entry fees required for entrance into diving competitions.

Pool Closings
Periodically, the pool suffers a mechanical issue and is closed.  Also, once in a while severe
weather causes the pool to be closed.  In these rare situations divers will need to make up their
days during the session that is running at the time.

Team Uniforms
Divers and supporters will now be able to order direct from the Aardvark Company our team
uniforms with logo.  Click on the link to see what is offered.

Team & Pool Rules
  • Snacks and drinks are allowed by divers but all garbage must be picked up.
  • Horseplay, swimming under the diving boards, using equipment incorrectly will not be
    tolerated.
  • Divers whose behavior regularly disrupts training will be asked to leave the program.
  • Repeated lack of cooperation, talking back or ignoring instructors, being inconsiderate of
    others will not be tolerated and will result in the diver being asked to leave the program.
  • Parents and spectators are to watch from the bleacher only. Please no coaching.
  • Discussions on packages or collecting payments will not be done at the pool deck.

  • Filming a dive session needs to be coordinated with a coach.
  • Divers are to be picked up immediately after class.
